About the Job
The Irrigation Technician will perform installation and maintenance services under the supervision of the appointed Superintendent. This position involves working on a variety of sites, including commercial properties, residences, golf courses, and athletic fields. The Technician will be responsible for installing, inspecting, and repairing irrigation systems to ensure efficient and effective water usage. Duties include troubleshooting issues, performing routine maintenance, and ensuring systems comply with design specifications. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently while maintaining high standards of workmanship.
Key Responsibilities :
- Inspecting properties and accurately generating reports
- Troubleshooting of two wired and conventional systems
- Locating and repairing electrical issues
- Setting timers - conventional and smart timers
- Repairing broken mains / laterals / heads
