Medustrial Healthcare Staffing is hiring Correctional Nurses for locations in Florence, SC; Columbia, SC; Tuberville, SC; and surrounding areas in South Carolina. Training Details:
- Complete a 2-week training program. Dates will be provided once approved.
- First week in Columbia, SC.
- Final week at your assigned facility.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct health screenings and assessments.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Respond to medical emergencies and provide triage.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers and staff for comprehensive patient care.
- Educate patients about health conditions and self-care.
Ideal Candidate Qualifications:
- Current valid nursing license in South Carolina.
- Valid CPR/First Aid or BLS certification (not provided by employer).
- Valid 2-step TB test, TB blood test, or TB X-ray (must be valid within the year and not provided by employer).
- Two forms of government-issued ID.
- Completion of a drug screen and background check (provided by employer).
- At least 6 months of nursing experience, preferably in a correctional or similar setting. No prior correctional experience is required.
- Excellent clinical skills and compassionate care.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work well as part of a team.
