Advanced Patient Care Specialist
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Progressive Care Unit at Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work with adult and geriatric patients, focusing on acute cardiac care. Your role will involve collaboration with the Patient Focused Care Team and participation in performance improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality patient care, prioritizing individual needs and preferences
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient plans of care
- Participate in continuous performance improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and unit efficiency
- Utilize advanced clinical skills and critical thinking to resolve complex patient care issues
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Current state RN license
- Associates or bachelor's degree from an accredited nursing school
- Basic Life Support certification within 30 days of hire
- ACLS Certification
- One year acute cardiovascular care experience or other comparable nursing experience
- ASLS certification preferred
