Position Summary:

The Assistant Director, Hospital Division assists in the overall leadership and direction of the Hospital Division of Finance within the Conemaugh Health System. The position has supervisory responsibility for financial operations staff. The position also includes working with the Director of Finance Hospital Division in coordinating, maintaining, and controlling the accounting system that properly reflects the financial position of the System.

The Assistant Director, Hospital Division reports directly to the Director Financial Operations Hospital Division and supervises various individuals within Financial Operations noted above.The Financial Operations department serves as a System Financial Operations department having responsibility for the preparation of financial statements for the flagship hospital (Memorial) as well as critical access hospitals (Meyersdale) and (Miners). The Financial Operations department processes accounts payable and payroll for all entities of the System, including the Physician Division.

  Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance
• Minimum of 7 years’ experience in healthcare;
• Successful leadership experience in hospital financial operations.
• Possesses excellent quantitative and problem solving skills and project positive image as a Healthcare professional.
