Pschiatric Nurse Practitioner
We are seeking a highly skilled Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to join our Behavioral Medicine department at the Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center.
In this role, you will provide comprehensive mental health care to adult patients in a specialized psychiatric unit, including conducting daily assessments, managing medications, and ensuring a safe environment for patients with various mental health diagnoses.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess patients' mental health status and develop individualized treatment plans
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient progress
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes
Requirements:
- Current state RN license
- Degree in advanced practice nursing (APRN) from an accredited institution
- Basic Life Support certification required within 30 days of hire
- CPR Certification preferred
