Data Analyst

The Data Analyst role will provide critical insights to drive business growth and operational efficiency, support the Business Development team (75% of the time) and Sales Management team (25% of the time). The Data Analyst will demonstrate strong analytical skills, proficiency in data analysis tools, and the ability to translate complex data in a meaningful way to diverse stakeholders.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Data Analysis and Reporting: Collect, process, and analyze large datasets to generate actionable insights that support business development and sales strategies.
• Business Development Support: Collaborate with the Business Development team to identify market trends, evaluate potential opportunities, and provide data-driven recommendations.
• Sales Management Support: Assist the Sales Management team in analyzing sales performance, forecasting trends, and developing strategies to enhance sales effectiveness.
• Dashboard Development: Design and maintain interactive dashboards and reports to effectively communicate key metrics and findings to stakeholders.
• Data Integrity: Ensure the accuracy and integrity of data by performing regular data validation and cleansing activities.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with various departments to understand their data needs and provide analytical support as required.
• Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline data collection and analysis processes, enhancing overall efficiency.

Qualifications and Skills

• Technical Proficiency: Experience with CRM systems; strong knowledge of data visualization tools, with a primary focus on Power BI. While Power BI is our primary platform, familiarity with Tableau is also valuable due to its similarity and complementary features. Proficiency in statistical analysis software (e.g., R, Python) is a plus.
• Analytical Skills: Demonstrated ability to analyze complex datasets, identify patterns, and translate findings into actionable business insights.
• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
• Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail in data analysis and reporting.
• Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.
• Time Management: Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Education and Experience

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in data science, Statistics, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).
• Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a data analysis role, preferably supporting business development and/or sales functions.
• An equivalent combination of education, experience, or training may be considered.

Pay: $80,960.00 - $120,000.00 per year
