Job Overview
We are seeking a creative and motivated Social Media Specialist to join our dynamic marketing team. The Social Media Specialist is responsible for creating and publishing content on all social media platforms. Possess the drive and creativeness to grow an audience, build brand awareness, and ultimately, boost sales.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Develop online brand identity and awareness.
- Manage and maintain company online platforms.
- Build and execute social media strategy through competitive research, platform determination, benchmarking, messaging, and audience identification.
- Measure the success of social media content.
- Interact with audiences on company social media platforms.
Qualifications and Skills
- Positive attitude, detail, and customer-oriented with good multitasking and organizational ability.
- The ability to work well in a team environment as well as independently.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- The ability to use social media marketing tools.
- The ability to stay up to date with the latest social media best practices and technologies.
- The ability to understand social media KPIs.
- Great interpersonal and communication skills
- Knowledge of online marketing and a good understanding of major marketing channels.
Experience
- Degree in marketing, communications, or related field (preferred).
- Minimum of One (1) year experience as a Social Media Specialist or similar role preferred.
- An equivalent combination of education, experience, or training may be considered.
