Lifeguards

The Conestoga Country Club is looking for enthusiastic and responsible individuals to join our team as lifeguards. As a lifeguard, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe and enjoyable environment for our patrons.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure the safety of all patrons by actively monitoring the pool area and enforcing all facility rules and regulations.
• Respond to emergencies, providing first aid and performing CPR or other life-saving measures when necessary.
• Maintain a clean and organized pool area, including regular cleaning of the deck, pool, and surrounding areas.
• Attend all required training sessions and staff meetings.
• Maintain current certification in lifeguarding, first aid, and CPR/AED.

Qualifications:

• Must be at least 15 years of age.
• Strong swimming skills and endurance.
• Ability to communicate effectively with patrons and staff.
• Ability to respond quickly and calmly in emergency situations.
• Must be able to pass a lifeguard certification course and maintain current certification throughout employment.
• Previous lifeguarding experience preferred but not required.

Training:

Must obtain American Red Cross Lifeguard Certification.
