Working collaboratively across disciplines, the Product Manager guides a team that is responsible to support the product and service segments of our Custom Business Division.
Job Responsibilities
- Partners with the Director of Marketing and Product Development, Sales Representatives, and Customers to define product positioning and key benefits to targeted customers
- Determines product needs and subsequently works with Product Engineers and Operations teams to bring products to market
- Works with key departments such as Information Systems, Business Intelligence, Engineering, Operations, Scheduling and Purchasing to ensure that the product lines run smoothly and remain profitable
- Manages specific segments of the product line from strategic planning to tactical activities
- Implements market/sales trends into the product lines to ensure the company is staying abreast in the market
- Travels to key trade shows and internal sales meetings to represent the product line
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing/Advertising/Communications or equivalent experience
- A minimum of three years specialized experience in Product Development, managing or industry specific marketing
- Demonstrated ability to understand market trends through independent research efforts and present viable recommendations to leadership
- Ability to partner in a cross-functional team environment, serving as a subject matter expert for the organization
