What are the responsibilities and job description for the Industrial Mechanic position at Conewago Enterprises?
Conewago is currently accepting applications for a Industrial Mechanic with at least 5-10 years' experience. Applicant should have working knowledge with install, replace, and repair of a wide variety of equipment primarily associated with water and wastewater treatment facilities. To be successful as an industrial mechanic, you should have a passion for understanding how things work and have sharp senses that help you locate minor faults quickly.
Industrial Mechanic Responsibilities:
- Maintaining and installing electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
- Locating problems through close observation of machinery operation.
- Controlling downtime by communicating with operators and implementing contingency measures.
- Ensuring all procedures and processes adhere to health and safety regulations.
- Assisting with training of all new hires.
Industrial Mechanic Requirements:
- Great mechanical and electrical aptitude.
- Critical and logical thinking ability.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Good physical strength and stamina.
- Ability to remain calm and act responsibly during emergencies.
- Driver's license and willingness to work overtime if necessary.
