Senior Network Architect
Summary
Conexess Group is aiding a well known Fortune 500 client in their search for a Senior Network Architect to join the team for a 6-12 month contract. We are only able to accept W2 eligible candidates and there is potential to convert to full time employment at the end of the contract. This is a hybrid onsite/remote work position, and candidates will be asked to work in office 2-3 days a week at one of the following locations:

Required Skills
Branch Network, Engineering, Architecture, Technical Project Leadership.
Data Center Network - 7 yrs
SD WAN - 7 yrs
Fortinet - 7 yrs
Core Competencies:
Verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, customer service and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and manage one's time.
Basic mentoring skills necessary to provide support and constructive performance feedback.
Knowledge of computer hardware as it relates to data storage. Knowledge of computer software, such as configuration management software, desktop communications software, operating system software and internet directory services software
Job Responsibilities:
Tactical- leading the effort for platform soundness.
Strategic - helping to set the direction for the platform.
Adjust network sizes to meet volume or capacity demands.
Communicate with customers, sales staff, or marketing staff to determine customer needs.
Coordinate network operations, maintenance, repairs or upgrades. Design, build, or operate equipment configuration prototypes, including network hardware, software, servers, or server operation systems.
Determine specific network hardware or software requirements such as platforms, interfaces, bandwidths, or routine schemas.
Develop and implement solutions for network problems. Develop conceptual, logical or physical network designs.
Determine user requirements and design specifications for computer networks.
Good understanding of Data center infrastructure - storage, data center facilities experience.
Cloud Network Experience - nice to have.
Perform other duties as assigned
Education/Experience: High School Degree and Bachelors degree in computer science/related field required or equivalent work experience required. 8 years experience
