Sr. Data Engineer (Data Archiving Healthcare Exp.) - 100% Remote
- Analyze SQL DB data sources, create scripts/programs and utilize standard SQL utilities to move data from source EMR databases to archival databases
- Create complex and/or nonstandard scripts and programs to transform compressed/encrypted/obscure document files to readable documents (PDFs, tifs, etc.)
- Perform database subsystem tuning and optimization.
- TOOLS EXPERIENCE: Relational DBs (MSSQL Server, Progress, Oracle, etc.), SSIS, Windows Powershell, Unix OS, Python/Bash Scripting
- Extract, transform, and load healthcare data to support data archiving and migrations between EHR/EMR Systems
- Ability to analyze complex data sets, draw conclusions and relationships and develop actionable recommendations
- Analyzing client requirements, developing extraction and transformation plans, and implementing those plans
- Expertise in healthcare data stored in databases, healthcare data models and related schemas
- Creating reports for tracking project timelines, system performance, data movement and data validation processes
- Implementing standardized, automated operational and quality control processes to deliver accurate and timely data analytics and reporting needs
