Key Responsibilities of Role:
- This position will engage is a variety of activities on a daily basis. These will include making outbound sales calls, as well as receiving inbound calls for sales and account retention.
- Actively engage in cold calling of prospective customers (outbound sales).
- Schedule appointments, follow up emails, quoting, and closing (all sales).
- Establish and maintain a high level of member satisfaction, professionalism, and courtesy in all retention activities.
- Consistently meet or exceed retention activity goals by utilizing sound phone-based customer save techniques.
- Respond to inbound retention calls promptly and efficiently as outlined by the required call handling metrics to include productive time, schedule adherence, handle time, after call work, etc.
- Answer questions pertaining to billing inquiries, pricing and packaging of products and service, and service complaints.
- Ability to learn and master order processing within the billing system regarding all aspects of retained accounts, new sales order entry, account lookup, and other tools and functions as they relate to the retention function.
- Have a full understanding of and consistently demonstrate proficiency at explaining all products and services to existing customers in an effort to re-sell and retain.
- Acquire and demonstrate thorough knowledge of competitors’ pricing, packaging, and products in an effort to discuss side by side comparisons of Conexon’s and competitors’ products and services.
- Completes and updates all applicable sales forms and call reports to ensure a complete and timely flow of sales information to Manager.
- Build sales strategy to ensure both long- and short-term goals, objectives, and quotas are met
- Develop and cultivate client relationships with both new and existing customers while achieving profit and revenue objectives
- Ability to Set and Run Appointments independently
- Ensure that our customers receive the highest level of Sales and Operational Customer Service
- Solicits customer feedback to improve service
- Ensure that products, services and solutions recommended to clients will fulfill their needs
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, managers, and other employees of the organization.
- Maintains product information and prices, call lists/lead lists to enhance sales activities through planning activities based on accurate and precise information
- Must consistently hit or exceed sales goals/quotas.
- May be asked to attend marketing events in/around assigned territories.
- Performs any other related duties as assigned.
- Reports directly to Call Center Supervisor.
Education Level: College Degree Preferred (Not Required)
Experience: 1-2 Years Sales Experience Required. Experience/Knowledge Base in Telecom is a Major Plus
Compensation: Base Commission
Location: In Office - Call Center – Jackson, GA
