Position Scope
You will be reporting to the Head of US Tax (previous International Tax leader, reporting to Global Head of Tax)
A dynamic, global organization is seeking a Senior Manager of International Tax to oversee U.S. international tax compliance, planning, and audit activities. This role involves managing complex tax processes, advising cross-functional teams across accounting, legal, and treasury, and ensuring compliance with both domestic and international tax regulations. The Senior Manager will also support strategic initiatives and serve as a key communicator between internal stakeholders and external partners.

Responsibilities
- Oversee the preparation and review of income tax provisions (ASC 740), including quarterly and annual reports, reconciliations, and related disclosures.
- Conduct tax research and manage projects focused on reducing the company’s effective tax rate and improving compliance.
- Lead foreign tax audits and inquiries involving income, property, and other taxes.
- Analyze the tax impacts of U.S. and non-U.S. legislation and recommend planning strategies for global operations.
- Manage international tax compliance, including calculations for GILTI, Subpart F, FDII, and foreign tax credits, along with reviewing forms like 5471, 5472, and 8858.
- Support global transfer pricing policies, tax positions, and compliance strategies.
- Drive improvements in internal tax systems and adopt new software to enhance efficiency.
- Collaborate on M&A transactions, tax integration, and other strategic initiatives
Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Tax, or a related field
- Experience with LARGE & GLOBAL companies, think $5b/year revenue
- 7 years of experience – combination of public accounting (see below) and corporate tax experience, including 2 years in international tax for a U.S. parent or multinational company.
- Big 4 or Mid Tier Public accounting firm experience strongly preferred
- Expertise in U.S. international tax laws, tax provisions, and compliance for complex C Corps and partnerships.
- CPA is strongly preferred
- Strong analytical skills, proficiency in tax software
Salary : $135,000 - $185,000
