We currently have an opportunity for a motivated Lead Desktop Tech to work on an enterprise level project. This position offers the opportunity to work on an essential company-wide initiative. Strong PC knowledge in both OS and Hardware required.
Recent client facing desktop experience and requires excellent communication and customer service
Role and Responsibilities
Leading through example and coordinating the team.
Motivating the team and managing deliverables.
Assisting in completing pre-project checklists to gather customer / project information needed while onsite
Work within the framework of each division to effectively install the solution in their environment
Communicate on-site with customer representative / IT
Troubleshoot issues onsite as needed
When not deploying, be a member of the support team
Request training if needed
Onsite Tasks
Provide daily progress updates
Maintain progress notes
Verify network connectivity from server to devices / client machine(s)
Configure machines following the specified instructions
Configure client machine(s) with database client
Documentation
Maintain documentation database for each machine
Maintain and follow project implementation checklists for each project
Work with team to develop any new, or changes to existing, instructions
