We are seeking a highly skilled and specialized individual to oversee our entire corporate reporting process in the role of VP of Accounting. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards) or the ability to quickly grasp its principles, coupled with experience handling corporate and confidential information. This individual will play a key role in streamlining and enhancing the corporate reporting process while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. A strong communicator, this individual will also be comfortable presenting complex information to executive leadership and boards of directors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage the corporate reporting process, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with relevant standards (specifically IFRS).
- Implement process improvements and enhancements to drive efficiency and effectiveness in the reporting process.
- Analyze and interpret financial data, ensuring that all corporate reports reflect the company’s performance and strategic objectives.
- Handle corporate and confidential information with the utmost discretion and in line with regulatory requirements.
- Prepare and present detailed reports, analysis, and insights to senior leadership and boards of directors.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that all reporting needs are met and aligned with company goals.
- Monitor and stay up to date on changes in financial reporting regulations, ensuring the company is always compliant with IFRS and other applicable standards.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in corporate reporting, financial analysis, or a related field, with significant exposure to IFRS.
