SALARY: Records Archivist I - $21.98 - $25.27/ hour plus benefits, may be employed under contract
Records Archivist II - $24.27 - $27.90
Records Operations Analyst - $29.63 - $34.06

SPECIAL CONDITIONS:
CSKT RECORDS MANAGEMENT DEPARTMENT is offering ONE full-time position to a customer service-oriented
individual who enjoys supporting and leading others. Successful candidates will embody abilities such as effective
communication, team partnerships and leadership, business or technical writing skills, strong knowledge and experience
using computer applications, and should demonstrate strong problem-solving skills with attention to details. This is a great
opportunity to assist with near ground-zero buildout of a modern records management system, starting with policy
development and implementation support, program planning, intra-departmental educational outreach, operational
expertise from creation to warehousing or disposal, and much more! The newly created department is designed with two
divisions (Program Support and Operations Support) housing seven positions. Four positions are structured with a career
development component allowing a newly hired team member to qualify at one of three levels in either of the two
divisions. A career track will be afforded for advancement to more technical and administrative skills, which allows for
succession and increases in earnings from that initial placement.
One vacancy to be filled depending on qualifications may be hired in one of these three positions: FIRST POSITION –
Entry as RECORDS ARCHIVIST I (wage range, $21.98-$25.57), which will present opportunity to train for the
SECOND POSITION – RECORDS ARCHIVIST II (wage range, $24.27-$27.90), which will present opportunity to train
for the THIRD POSITION – RECORDS OPERATIONS ANALYST (wage range, $29.63-34.06). While three position
descriptions exist, at this time, we intend to employ only ONE records management operations professional. Minimum
job duties include: Organizing Records, Processing Incoming Records, Retrieval and Distribution, Physical and Digital
Storage, Collaboration, Technology Utilization, Assist with Training and Education, Other relevant duties, as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (AS REFLECTED ON THE TRIBAL EMPLOYMENT APPLICATION):
Records Archivist I:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- A minimum of one (1) year verified experience in data tracking, scheduling, and data management
responsibilities.
- Must have met all training criteria required of Records Operations Technician, in addition to training in areas
employment. If not completed it may be grounds for termination.
- Must have valid Montana Driver’s License or be able to obtain one within six (6) months.
Records Archivist II:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- A relevant degree (such as associate degree or equivalent) in Records Management, Library Science, or
Administration is preferred; or,
- A minimum of two (2) years’ verified experience with data management for web-based or desktop
- Verifiable experience in preparing or delivering instructional guidance of a technical discipline to individuals
- Must have met all training criteria required of Records Archivist I, in addition to training in areas of change
it may be grounds for termination.
- Must have valid Montana Driver’s License or be able to obtain one within six (6) months.
Records Operations Analyst:
- Post-secondary degree in Records Management, Information Science, business administration, public
administration, or related field from an accredited university, or equivalent experience is required; preference will
be given for a Bachelors’ degree with an emphasis in data management; Or,
- A minimum of three (3) years in warehouse management-oriented field with at least two (2) years technical
oversight of subordinates or instructing peers on best practices or safety compliance; Or,
- Five (5) years of increasingly responsible work in planning, productivity, reporting of outcomes, and developing
data tracking for reporting and inventory or records management.
- Must have met all training criteria required of Records Archivist II, in addition to completion of Hyland/OnBase
University Certification for Administrator Associate within one (1) year of start of employment. If not completed
it may be grounds for termination.
- Must have valid Montana Driver’s License or be able to obtain one within six (6) months.

3. Copy of valid driver’s license.
4. If claiming Tribal Preference, Proof of enrollment from a federally recognized Tribe if not from CSKT.
5. If claiming veteran’s preference, a copy of the DD214 must be submitted.
