Warm Springs branch of Natural Resources is seeking highly motivated high school summer youth for eight weeks of employment. Tribal member preference. Applicants must have a strong desire to work in warm springs at the branch of Natural Resources, a strong work ethic, a dedication to educating themselves and an effort to improve communication skills. The job entails working with departments of Natural Resources in a classroom setting and in the field with safety equipment and getting hot, dirty, and tired. field activities include creek cleanup, range and fisheries fence repair, trail cleanup and brush removal. Classroom activities include watching BNR produced videos, documentaries, and department slideshows and possible college tours.
No drug or alcohol use. No criminal record. Dedication to keeping the schedule and being on time everyday. Other activities include possible college tours and off reservation office and cultural site visits.
