What are the responsibilities and job description for the Lamprey Program Supervisor position at Confederated Tribes of Warm Springs, Oregon?
Develop, manage and supervise the Lamprey Program both on and off the reservation from Warm Springs, Oregon. The Lamprey program consists of overseeing lamprey project personnel in 3 offices (Warm Springs (main office), The Dalles Field Office and Willamette Falls Field Office). Lamprey Supervisor will help in developing contract budgets and statements of work for all three offices. Supervise project personnel. Represent the tribes at regional fisheries - related coordination meetings.
Requirements
Masters of Science in Fisheries Science or a closely related field and three years' job-related experience or Bachelor of Science in Fisheries Science or a closely related field and five years of job-related experience. Project management and supervisory experience necessary. Fishery management principles. Data analysis, statistics and population dynamics. Project management methods and techniques. Budget preparation and management. Federal permitting requirements.
