What are the responsibilities and job description for the Landscape Assistant (WSHA) position at Confederated Tribes of Warm Springs, Oregon?
Perform basic grounds maintenance of the Tribal Housing Authority. Cut lawns, trim edges around walks and curbing, flower beds, walls and including unimproved areas. Must be able to operate mowers, weed eaters, edgers, blowers, rotor tillers, blade, bucket, utility vehicle, lot vacuum, trailers and additional equipment pertaining to ground keeping. Sprays lawns, scrubs and trees with fertilizer, herbicides and insecticides. Rakes and bags or burns leaves, grass and debris. Repair fences, gates, walls, irrigation pipes, sprinkler systems, storage buildings. Sharpen tools. Ensures all working areas and equipment are clean/hazard free. Plant grass, flowers, trees and shrubs. Cleans out drainage ditches and culverts. Cleans grounds and parking lots. Keep all areas clean and outdoor trash containers empty.
