What are the responsibilities and job description for the Watershed Restoration Coordinator position at Confederated Tribes of Warm Springs?
Coordinate the restoration efforts in the Whychus Metolius Crooked and Upper Deschutes watersheds . Work with landowners and other stakeholders to provide restoration opportunities addressing water quality water quantity and aquatic habitat benefiting summer steelhead trout spring Chinook salmon and sockeye salmon in the Upper Deschutes subbasin rivers and their tributaries .
Requirements
Bachelor s degree in Natural Resources Management fisheries or a related science. Five years professional experience in Watershed Management which includes supervision of employees. Requires valid Oregon driver s license. Must submit and pass a criminal background check with Federal Tribal and State Law Enforcement. Must also submit and pass a pre employment alcohol and drug screening.
