We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our team in providing exceptional dining experiences. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in delivering outstanding guest services while ensuring a welcoming and enjoyable atmosphere. 1. Greeting Guests
- Welcome guests warmly upon arrival and ensure they are seated or directed to their tables or sections.
- Introduce yourself and provide information about the menu, specials, or ongoing promotions.
2. Taking Orders
- Accurately take drink and food orders from guests, noting any special requests or preferences with POS systems TOAST.
- Be knowledgeable about the menu, including cocktails, wine, beer, and food options, to answer questions and make recommendations.
3. Delivering Orders
- Serve drinks and food promptly and professionally.
- Ensure that orders are correct and meet guest expectations before delivery.
4. Monitoring Guest Needs
- Check in periodically to see if guests need refills, additional orders, or assistance.
- Anticipate needs by observing body language and table activity, ensuring the guests feel well cared for.
5. Maintaining Cleanliness and Organization
- Keep tables and surrounding areas clean by removing empty glasses, plates, and trash.
- Reset tables quickly after guests leave to accommodate new patrons.
6. Handling Payments
- Present the check to guests when requested and handle payments accurately, including cash, credit card, or mobile transactions.
- Be familiar with split checks or group payment methods.
7. Following Venue Policies
- Adhere to alcohol service laws and venue policies to prevent over-serving or serving minors.
- Work with security to monitor guest behavior and address any issues professionally.
8. Promoting Specials and Upselling
- Inform guests about happy hour deals, bottle service packages, or premium drink options.
- Suggest additional items like appetizers, desserts, or group-friendly options.
9. Assisting with Bottle Service
- For VIP sections or bottle service, servers often help with setting up bottles, mixers, and serving accouterments like glasses and ice.
- Ensure VIP guests receive prompt and attentive service throughout the night.
10. Team Collaboration
- Work closely with bartenders, bussers, and management to ensure smooth operations.
- Communicate guest needs, special requests, or issues effectively to other team members.
11. Closing Duties
- Clean and organize your section, including wiping down tables and chairs.
- Help restock items like napkins, utensils, or condiments for the next shift.
- Ensure the venue is tidy and ready for the next business day.
