Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Parts Manager to oversee the parts department at our Ford dealership. The Parts Manager will be responsible for managing inventory, ordering parts, and ensuring excellent customer service for both internal and external customers. This is a leadership role that requires strong organizational skills, product knowledge, and an ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage the daily operations of the parts department, including inventory management, ordering, and parts sales.
- Supervise and train parts department staff to ensure they meet performance standards and provide top-notch service.
- Ensure all parts inventory is well-stocked, organized, and properly labeled.
- Work closely with the service department to ensure timely and accurate parts availability for repairs and maintenance.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, vendors, and suppliers.
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and special orders with professionalism and attention to detail.
- Maintain accurate parts records and reports, ensuring compliance with dealership policies and procedures.
- Assist in the forecasting of parts needs and manage ordering to avoid shortages or overstocking.
- Stay up to date on new Ford parts and accessories, industry trends, and best practices.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Parts Manager or in a similar role, preferably at a Ford dealership.
- Strong knowledge of Ford automotive parts, systems, and accessories.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to lead and motivate a team effectively.
- Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to resolve conflicts and provide solutions.
- Proficiency in dealership management software and MS Office Suite.

Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare concise and accurate reports, proposals, booking packages, and other required documentation for executive-level presentations.
- Achieve weekly, monthly, and annual sales quotas by successfully implementing sales and marketing strategies and tactics.
- Actively prospect, identify, and engage with new business clients in South Texas to generate sales leads daily. This may require adjusting your work schedule to call on clients.
- Conduct in-person meetings and client presentations to showcase how our vehicles can save companies money and time.
- Ability to track, manage, and close sales deals – with the ability to consistently meet all sales expectations.
- Build and nurture strong relationships with business clients to maximize customer satisfaction and retention.
- Understand client needs and provide tailored solutions to meet their specific requirements.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records in CRM systems for efficient follow-up and communication.
- Collaborate with the internal team to ensure seamless order processing and delivery.
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitive products, and market conditions to position our offerings effectively.
- Represent Confidence Auto Group in a professional and customer-focused manner.
Qualifications:
- Proven track record in outside sales experience, specifically in commercial vehicle sales or a related industry.
- Self-motivated and proactive approach with a good drive to achieve sales targets and revenue goals.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple accounts and opportunities simultaneously.
- Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, both in-person and over the phone.
- Ability to establish and maintain long-term relationships with business clients.
- High level of professionalism and a customer-focused mindset.
- Familiarity with CRM software and sales tracking systems.
- Must be based in or willing to relocate to South Texas.
- A valid driver’s license is required.
