Job Summary
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to provide essential support and assistance to individuals in need of care. Duties
- Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance clients' quality of life.
- Monitor and record vital signs as needed, ensuring any changes in health status are communicated promptly.
- Assist with mobility and transfers, including heavy lifting when necessary.
- Support clients with memory care activities to promote cognitive engagement.
- Administer medications as directed by healthcare professionals.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients by performing light housekeeping duties.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop individualized care plans tailored to each client’s needs.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in senior care, hospice care, or working with individuals with developmental disabilities is preferred.
- Certification in CPR is highly desirable.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and assist clients with mobility challenges.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build trusting relationships with clients.
- Knowledge of basic patient care techniques and vital sign monitoring is a plus.
- Cooking skills for meal preparation are beneficial.
- Compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others.
