Summary:
- Lead strategy and execution for digital platform capabilities—such as identity, APIs, mobile frameworks, content delivery, and backend services—enabling scalable and personalized experiences across web and app ecosystems.
- Build and prioritize platform product roadmaps aligned with long-term business strategy, enterprise architecture, and customer impact.
- Partner closely with engineering, architecture, security, and compliance teams to deliver resilient, secure, and high-performance services.
- Drive API-first product development, enabling both internal and external teams to innovate on top of platform capabilities.
- Align digital platform investments with consumer and business experiences by enabling flexibility, extensibility, and modularity.
- Facilitate adoption of platform capabilities through enablement, documentation, governance, and community engagement.
- Serve as the connective tissue across product teams—identifying and managing cross-team dependencies, system-wide KPIs, and scaling opportunities.
- Lead platform governance initiatives and enterprise-wide planning to reduce tech debt, consolidate tooling, and unify frameworks.
- Translate complex technical and architectural concepts into clear business value for non-technical stakeholders.
- Establish platform success metrics, monitor usage, and proactively evolve offerings based on feedback and telemetry data.
- Mentor product managers and engineers on platform thinking, API strategy, and long-term system evolution.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent hands-on experience in digital platform product management.
- 10 years of experience in product management, with a strong track record in platform, backend services, or enterprise-level digital solutions.
- Proven experience with API ecosystems, developer enablement, system integration, and performance/reliability KPIs.
- Strong collaboration skills across architecture, engineering, security, and data teams.
- Experience working in agile and DevOps-centric environments.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 12 years of product management experience with at least 5 years in platform or infrastructure-level product roles.
- Strong understanding of CI/CD, cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP), API gateways, and identity management systems.
- Experience launching or scaling platforms serving multiple product verticals or business lines.
- Familiarity with developer experience, API versioning, documentation standards, and internal product marketing.
- MBA or equivalent leadership development experience.
