Summary
- Own the end-to-end strategy and execution of customer-facing eCommerce initiatives, from conversion to fulfillment, including checkout, order management, inventory, personalization, and post-purchase experience.
- Define and manage a data-driven product roadmap aligned with commercial KPIs, customer insights, and business OKRs.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Engineering, UX, Marketing, Operations, and Merchandising to deliver seamless and scalable omnichannel experiences.
- Leverage experimentation (A/B testing, multivariate testing) and customer research to continuously optimize engagement, retention, and transaction performance.
- Partner with architecture and platform teams to ensure infrastructure scalability, site reliability, and responsive design across devices.
- Build and manage external technology partnerships (e.g., payment gateways, tax engines, fraud protection, shipping partners).
- Drive improvements in site speed, SEO, accessibility, and conversion rates through iterative, measurable product releases.
- Lead the implementation of modern personalization engines and product recommendation strategies.
- Influence stakeholders across business units by presenting compelling narratives around customer behavior, competitive trends, and innovation opportunities.
- Mentor product managers and contribute to the evolution of eCommerce product development best practices.
- Champion compliance, trust & safety, and privacy across eCommerce flows (PCI, GDPR, CCPA).
- Stay current with retail and marketplace trends to inform product direction and future growth.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business, or related field, or equivalent experience in eCommerce product management.
- 10 years in product management, with at least 5 years in eCommerce or retail-focused digital product roles.
- Strong understanding of the end-to-end eCommerce lifecycle, including OMS, CMS, fulfillment, promotions, payments, and returns.
- Experience working in agile teams and collaborating with engineers, designers, and operations.
- Fluency with product tools like Aha!, Jira, Confluence, Google Analytics, and experimentation platforms.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 12 years total product management experience, ideally in both enterprise and high-growth retail or DTC environments.
- Experience with headless commerce, MACH architecture, or integrating with major eCommerce platforms (Salesforce Commerce Cloud, Shopify Plus, Adobe Commerce, etc.).
- Strong analytical skills and fluency in KPIs related to funnel performance, AOV, CAC, and retention.
- Executive MBA or similar advanced degree.
- Familiarity with Trust & Safety, fraud prevention, PCI compliance, and identity verification.
