SUMMARY :
Seeking committed Hands-on Industrial Maintenance Manager to provide and supervise maintenance of the facility and the department. Must enjoy hands-on mechanical and electrical troubleshooting, maintenance and engineering and have both the ability and willingness to troubleshoot and repair jobs yourself, including basic troubleshooting and repair of projects relating to PLC's, facilities, machinery, and automated equipment.
QUALIFICATIONS :
5 years of supervisory experience of a team of 5 or more in an industrial manufacturing environment managing facilities and mechanical machinery.10 years' experience in maintenance, planning and / or facilities engineering.
Bachelor's Degree in an Engineering Discipline, with extensive knowledge of industrial machine repair & troubleshooting methods and techniques. (B.S. in Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical, or Manufacturing engineering is ideal.)
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE :
- Assess the fluctuating production needs and work toward optimum line efficiencies with the continuous goal of Process Improvement.
- Plan, schedule, and oversee all maintenance activities of the production, facility and grounds equipment and systems in a multi-location industrial manufacturing company.
- Supervise and schedule in house maintenance department staff, including resolving conflicts and maintaining an efficient and productive department.
- Coordinate the outsourcing of maintenance related vendors and oversee and guide outside contractors for effective maintenance of machinery and facility systems.
- Implement ongoing training and supervision of the maintenance staff.
- Maintain ISO certification by administrating and constant improvement of a PM program.
1. New PM procedures need to be written for any machine added to KPE list. Most new machines or systems will be added.
2. Procedures need to be constantly evaluated.
3. PM tasks need to be scheduled and tasks recorded.
