Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Controller to oversee our financial operations and ensure the integrity of our financial reporting. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in public accounting and financial management, with expertise in various accounting principles and standards. This role is pivotal in guiding our financial strategy and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of the accounting department, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, and general ledger functions.
- Prepare accurate financial statements in accordance with IFRS and governmental accounting standards.
- Oversee the implementation and adherence to SOX compliance policies and procedures.
- Develop and maintain robust financial management systems to enhance reporting accuracy and efficiency.
- Conduct technical accounting research to address complex financial issues as they arise.
- Collaborate with internal teams to provide financial insights that support strategic decision-making.
- Ensure timely completion of month-end close processes and prepare monthly financial reports for management review.
- Monitor cash flow, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis to maintain fiscal health.
- Train and mentor accounting staff to foster professional development within the team.

Skills
- Strong knowledge of public accounting principles and practices.
- Proficient in financial management techniques with a solid understanding of financial concepts.
- Experience with SOX compliance requirements and governmental accounting standards is highly desirable.
- Exceptional technical accounting skills, including familiarity with IFRS guidelines.
- Proficiency in using financial software for reporting and analysis purposes.
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively convey complex financial information.

Pay: $75,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
