We are delighted to be advising an impressive global fund on their ongoing expansion in 2025. Following an excellent start to the year, our client is seeking to add a talented investment professional to their alternative credit team in New York. The role will likely be at Director or Managing Director, and will require a candidate boasting a proven experience investing in higher yielding private credit opportunities.
The role itself ill focus on:
- Analyzing and investing in private credit markets, focusing on capital solutions or more complex debt opportunities
- Proactively sourcing and originating opportunities across sectors, with a focus on North American corporate credit opportunities across the capital structure
- Contributing to the global investment effort across all alternative credit strategies
- Produce and present ideas to the global investment committee
- Support the wider management team on launching and fundraising further funds
This role would suit an experienced investment professional capable of further developing and expanding all areas of the investment process - origination, underwriting and execution. The ideal candidate will have a demonstrable background investing in private markets, with the necessary fundamental credit analysis and modeling skill set, whilst ideally will have experience within/exposure to distressed or special situations.
Salary : $325,000 - $400,000
