Position Overview:

In this newly created position, the Chief of Staff serves as a key advisor and strategic partner to the CEO (or executive team), driving initiatives, optimizing workflows, and ensuring alignment across departments to achieve the organization’s goals. This role provides critical support in making informed decisions, improving operational efficiency, and executing the company’s strategic vision.


In addition to core leadership and operational responsibilities, this role will play a pivotal part in conducting financial analysis to support growth and expansion initiatives, commercial partnerships, and potential acquisitions. The ideal candidate is highly analytical, results-driven, and a strong communicator, capable of managing complex projects, balancing multiple priorities, and delivering data-driven insights that fuel strategic decision-making.


Key Responsibilities:

1. Strategic Planning, Growth, and Financial Analysis

• Collaborate with the CEO and executive team to develop and execute business strategies, expansion plans, and commercial growth initiatives.

• Conduct financial modeling and analysis to support strategic decision-making, including market expansion opportunities, partnership evaluations, and potential acquisitions.

• Monitor key performance metrics and business trends to provide actionable insights and recommendations for revenue growth and operational improvements.

• Assess and evaluate new business opportunities, competitive landscapes, and industry trends to inform leadership on expansion strategies.

2. Project and Program Management

• Lead cross-functional projects and strategic initiatives, ensuring alignment with company goals.

• Develop project timelines, manage resources efficiently, and keep initiatives on track to meet business objectives.

• Identify bottlenecks and proactively resolve issues to maintain momentum on key projects.

3. Leadership and Communication

• Serve as a trusted advisor to the CEO, offering insights on business performance, expansion strategies, and financial opportunities.

• Assist in preparing for internal and external meetings, ensuring data-driven insights inform discussions.

• Act as a liaison across departments to facilitate collaboration, alignment, and clear communication on strategic initiatives.

4. Operational Efficiency and Business Optimization

• Assess current processes and workflows, identifying inefficiencies and implementing best practices to enhance productivity.

• Work closely with department heads to streamline operations and maximize resource utilization.

5. Executive Reporting, Financial Insights, and Presentations

• Prepare executive-level presentations, reports, and data visualizations to support business decisions, partnerships, and potential investments.

• Lead financial analysis efforts to evaluate return on investment (ROI), profitability, and risk assessment of strategic initiatives.

• Synthesize complex financial and operational data into clear, actionable insights for the leadership team.

6. Team Management and Development

• Support recruiting, onboarding, and performance management initiatives to build a high-performing, growth-oriented team.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field.

• 3 years of experience in a strategic, operational, or financial role, preferably in management consulting, corporate strategy, or business development. Investment banking experience strongly preferred.

• Strong financial modeling, data analysis, and strategic planning skills.

• Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal abilities.

• Highly organized and detail-oriented, with a proven track record of managing complex projects.

• Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced, high-growth environment and handle confidential information with discretion.
