Position Overview:
We are seeking a talented and motivated Vice President to join our team of investment professionals. As a key member of our investment group, you will play a critical role in sourcing, evaluating, executing, and managing investment opportunities across a diverse range of industries.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with senior members of the investment team to identify and evaluate potential investment opportunities.
- Conduct thorough market research, industry analysis, and due diligence to assess the attractiveness of target companies.
- Develop and maintain complex financial models to analyze investment returns, cash flows, and performance metrics.
- Assist in structuring deals, negotiating terms, and preparing investment memorandums for investment committee presentations.
- Monitor and track the performance of portfolio companies, working closely with management teams to drive growth and operational improvements.
- Support the exit process by preparing divestiture strategies, coordinating with advisors, and participating in negotiations.
- Cultivate relationships with intermediaries, advisors, and industry professionals to source potential investment opportunities.
- Contribute to the ongoing improvement of investment processes, internal reporting, and performance analysis.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or related field; MBA is a plus.
- 3 years of experience in private equity, investment banking, corporate finance, or related roles.
- Strong understanding of financial modeling, valuation techniques, and due diligence procedures.
- Proficiency in financial analysis tools and software (Excel, Bloomberg, etc.).
- Excellent analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities for crafting investment memos and presenting findings.
