We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Bookkeeper to join our team. Responsibilities
- Prepare and record journal entries to ensure all financial transactions are accurately documented.
- Manage accounts receivable by processing invoices, tracking payments, and following up on overdue accounts.
- Oversee accounts payable functions, including processing vendor invoices and ensuring timely payments.
- Conduct balance sheet reconciliations to verify the accuracy of financial statements.
- Perform account analysis to identify discrepancies and resolve issues promptly.
- Ensure compliance with GAAP standards in all accounting practices.
- Assist with governmental accounting requirements as necessary.
- Utilize QuickBooks for efficient bookkeeping operations and reporting.
- Collaborate with public accounting firms during audits or financial reviews as needed.
- Coordinate and manage all accounts receivables
Skills
- Proficiency in journal entries, accounts receivable, and accounts payable processes.
- Strong understanding of GAAP principles and governmental accounting practices.
- Experience with balance sheet reconciliation and account analysis techniques.
