Role Summary
As the Culinary Director, you will oversee the culinary operations of 3 restaurants, ensuring consistent quality, creativity, and profitability. You will play a pivotal role in developing and executing menus, leading kitchen teams, and maintaining operational excellence across all venues. This position requires a dynamic leader who is as comfortable creating tasty upscale dishes as they are inspiring teams in the kitchen.
Key Responsibilities
- Menu Development: Design and oversee the creation of innovative, tasty, seasonally driven menus that align with the company’s brand and guest preferences.
- Operational Leadership: Ensure all kitchens operate at peak efficiency, maintaining high standards for food quality, safety, and cleanliness.
- Team Management: Recruit, train, and mentor chefs and kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented environment.
- Cost Management: Monitor and control food and labor costs while meeting financial goals and ensuring profitability.
- Supplier Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors and suppliers to source the highest quality ingredients at competitive prices.
- Guest Satisfaction: Collaborate with front-of-house teams to ensure a seamless and exceptional dining experience for guests.
- Compliance: Ensure all kitchen operations meet local health, safety, and sanitation standards.
- Trend Analysis: Stay ahead of industry trends and incorporate them into menus and concepts as appropriate.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of proven experience as a Culinary Director, Executive Chef, or similar leadership role in a multi-unit restaurant or hospitality organization.
- Must be an expert in all types of upscale food
