Credit Manager Summary
We're a successful and long-standing distribution company seeking a motivated Credit Manager to join our team. This person will lead the credit team, be responsible for maintaining positive customer relationships, and work closely with the sales and finance departments to optimize credit policies/procedures. This is a direct hire position and has a salary range of $110K-$125K plus bonus and excellent benefits.
Credit Manager Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of credit professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure high performance and professional growth.
- Develop, implement, and revise credit policies/procedures/strategies to mitigate risk and improve cash flow.
- Manage customer onboarding ensuring a positive, welcoming experience.
- Collaborate with the sales and finance teams to align credit strategies with business objectives.
- Prepare regular reports on credit status, outstanding debts, and risk assessments for leadership's review.
- Evaluate credit applications and financial statements to set credit limits for new and existing customers.
- Monitor accounts receivable and initiate collection efforts for overdue accounts.
- Resolve complex credit issues and disputes in collaboration with the sales and finance teams.
Credit Manager Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience managing a credit team.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong skills in credit analysis and corporate accounting practices.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.

Pay: $110,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
