A luxury new car dealership in New Jersey is seeking to hire a friendly, detail-oriented Warranty Administrator to prepare, submit, and track auto warranty claims. Responsibilities – Warranty Administrator:
Processes warranty claims on a timely basis.- Interpret and translate technician comments into operation codes.
- Processes all warranty paperwork to ensure proper documentation.
- Flag the technician appropriately for the hours earned according to factory guidelines.
- Verifies criteria required by factory.
- Reconciles all warranty receivables with payments through the appropriate accounting schedule.
- Resubmits all rejected and returned claims promptly or receives authorization to write them.
- Follows up on payment of outstanding claims.
- Keeps informed of all factory recalls and bulletins.
- Assists with any clerical needs as directed by the fixed operations manager or the controller.
- Maintains a professional appearance and a neat work area.
- Performs other duties and tasks as assigned.
Qualifications/Requirements - Warranty Administrator:
5 years of automotive experience preferred- Proficiency with Dealertrack is preferred
- Experience with basic computer programs
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- A high school diploma or equivalent
