Key Responsibilities :

  • Payroll Management : Oversee end-to-end payroll processing, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with all regulations.
  • Benefits Administration : Manage day-to-day operations of health, retirement, and wellness programs, including open enrollment, employee inquiries, and vendor coordination.
  • Employee Relations : Serve as a point of contact for employee relations matters, resolving concerns and supporting employees and managers with HR-related issues.
  • Compliance & Reporting : Ensure timely completion of mandatory reports such as EEO-1, ACA, and 5500 filings, and manage wage and hour compliance, leave administration, and record-keeping.
  • Collaboration with Finance : Work closely with the finance team and Senior Director of HR to ensure payroll is processed accurately and on time, including tracking PTO, wage adjustments, and bonuses.
  • System Management : Ensure accurate and up-to-date employee data in the HR system for payroll, benefits, and compliance purposes.
  • HR Policy & Implementation : Execute and communicate HR policies developed by the Sr. Director of HR, ensuring they are consistently applied across the organization.

What We’re Looking For :

  • Proven Payroll Expertise : 5 years of payroll management experience, preferably in a fast-paced corporate environment with a deep understanding of payroll processing and compliance.
  • HR Experience : Knowledge of general human resources practices, particularly in relation to compensation, benefits, and employee relations.
  • Tech-Savvy : Proficient in payroll software and HRIS systems—experience with Paylocity, Paychex, ADP, and / or UKG is required.
  • Exceptional Attention to Detail : You’re meticulous and committed to ensuring every paycheck is accurate and every HR process runs smoothly.
  • Process-Oriented : Strong focus on creating efficiencies and improving workflows, ensuring consistency and compliance across the organization.
  • Collaborative & Personable : You thrive in a team-oriented, friendly, and high-energy culture.
  • Bachelor's Degree : Preferred, but not a requirement—what matters most is your experience and passion for delivering great results.
  • Compliant & Knowledgeable : In-depth knowledge of federal, state, and local payroll regulations and tax laws.
