Responsibilities:
- Prepare journal entries and reconcile accounts during month-end close
- Conduct financial analyses and generate reports for management
- Handle payroll processing and state/tax filings coordination
- Assist with HR functions as necessary
- Support annual budgeting/forecasting efforts
- Aid in external audit preparations and SEC filings
- Assist with SOX documentation and testing
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field preferred
- 3 years of public/private accounting experience
- CPA designation or working towards it preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with QuickBooks is advantageous
