The Vice President of Supply Chain Management is responsible for the strategic oversight and leadership of the company’s end-to-end supply chain operations. This role ensures alignment of supply chain strategies with corporate goals, driving efficiencies, cost savings, and improved performance across sourcing, procurement, production, logistics, and distribution functions.
Responsibilities :
- Oversee supplier selection, negotiation, and performance management to ensure that partnerships align with organizational goals.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers to mitigate risks, drive cost reductions, and ensure quality standards are being met.
- Lead the team in developing strong procurement policies and systems to ensure transparent and efficient purchasing processes.
- Develops systems to evaluate vendor quotations that utilizes appropriate negotiation and purchasing techniques to ensure quality, price, delivery, and service.
- Monitor procurement reporting systems to align with company requirements.
- Prepares and reviews contracts, bids, proposals, and vendor agreements for legal correctness, price, and acceptability of items to specifications.
- Ensure optimal inventory levels are maintained to meet production demands while minimizing carrying costs and obsolescence.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to forecast demand and plan materials accordingly.
- Implement inventory control measures to ensure accurate reporting and compliance with company policies and regulations.

- Support product development initiatives by ensuring timely and cost-effective procurement of materials and resources.
- Serve as primary liaison between the supply chain function and other parties and departments to ensure effective communication and alignment.
