What are the responsibilities and job description for the Inventory Coordinator position at Confidential/Manufacturing?
Reporting to the Branch Manager, the Inventory Coordinator play a critical role in supporting the monitoring, manage and have a thorough account of patio door inventory. This role is also responsible for the coordination of inventory control functions such as ordering, receiving and depletion of material with the ability to provide reports and recommendations regarding inventory quotas, including Supermarket replenishment and daily / weekly cycling counting. He/she will support training, continuous improvement and cost reduction efforts. He/she will also ensure safety on site.
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
·Maintain accurate records of inventory, including transfers and cycle counts.
· Responsible for the receiving of goods and completion of all necessary paperwork and/or entry into the CCU created inventory and assuring accuracy (right time, number, free from defects, proper expiry date)
· Initiate Auto Replenishment and Supermarkets
· Internal transfers from Controlled to WIP warehouse locations
· Warehouse location and labeling management
· Oversee inventory and supply chain management according to company guidelines
· Manage/remove expired product
· Monitor substituted product codes with current inventory
· Communicate item substitutions with end users
· Segregate non-conformant product
· Investigates stock-out issues and takes necessary actions
· Prepare pick lists, packing slips, bills of lading, and invoices; (back-up to branch manager)
· Participate in monthly physical inventory cycle counts; process inventory adjustments / corrections in the system.
· Other duties as assigned
MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS:
2-3 years’ experience in an administration position within a manufacturing or distribution environment.
· Degree / Diploma or equivalent work experience.
· Must be proficient with MS office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word).
· Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate
· Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to anticipate problems, and how solutions will affect others.
· Must be able to adapt to changing priorities, deadlines, and directions.
· Forklift License
·Ability to work well with team members at all levels of the organization.

Pay: $18.00 - $19.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
