Job Overview

Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough audits of financial statements and records to ensure accuracy and compliance with GAAP.
- Prepare detailed documentation, highlighting findings and recommendations for improvement.
- Evaluate internal controls, risk management processes, and compliance with regulations.
- Collaborate to assess financial management practices and identify areas for enhancement.
- Provide guidance on best practices in public accounting and corporate governance.
- Stay updated on changes in accounting standards, regulations, and industry trends that may impact audit processes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA certification is preferred.
- Forensic Accounting Experience a PLUS
- Quickbooks Enterprise - Certified Pro Advisor preferred.
- 10 years experience with Quickbooks Desktop
- Other Point of Sale Software experience preferred
- Proficiency in accounting software and tools used for financial analysis.
- Strong understanding of risk management principles and regulatory requirements.
- Experience in financial report writing with the ability to communicate complex information clearly.
- Previous experience in public accounting or corporate auditing is a plus.
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
