Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Property Manager to oversee a midsize residential community in the Green Hills area of Nashville. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a comprehensive understanding of property management, including leasing, maintenance, and resident relations. This role requires effective communication and organizational abilities to ensure the smooth operation of our property while maintaining high standards of customer service.
Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day operations of assigned properties, ensuring compliance with company policies and legal regulations.
- Oversee property leasing activities, including marketing available units, conducting showings, and processing applications.
- Maintain positive relationships with residents by addressing concerns promptly and professionally.
- Coordinate property maintenance and repairs, ensuring timely resolution of issues to uphold property standards.
- Utilize software for managing tenant accounts, processing of invoice payments, and generating reports.
- Implement customer relationship management strategies to enhance resident satisfaction and retention.
- Ensure all legal administrative tasks are completed accurately, including lease agreements and compliance documentation.
- Conduct regular inspections of property to identify maintenance needs and ensure adherence to safety regulations.
- Collaborate with vendors and contractors for property improvements and maintenance services.
Experience
- 4 plus years of proven experience as a property manager in conventional is required. This is not a tax credit property.
- Strong administrative skills with proficiency in office software applications.
- Excellent phone etiquette and interpersonal skills for effective communication with residents and team members.
- Knowledge of legal aspects related to property management is highly desirable.
- Effectively manage a staff of 6.
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple tasks efficiently.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $59,372.00 - $65,000.00 per year
