NCAA Division 2 Institution is launching a brand-new college pep band, and we’re looking for a dynamic, student-focused Pep Band Director to build and lead it!
You'll start with 15–25 students in Fall 2025 and help grow the band to 35–50 members in future years. The band will perform at around 5 home football games and about 20 home basketball games each season.
Key Responsibilities:
- Recruit and direct the pep band
- Lead rehearsals and game-day performances
- Select/arrange music, coordinate logistics, and promote participation
- Collaborate with Athletics, Student Life, and Foundation staff
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in music or related field (or relevant experience)
- Experience directing bands (pep/marching preferred)
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills
- Passion for music, school spirit, and student engagement
Bonus Points for:
- Master’s degree or experience building a new music program
This is a part-time position with potential to grow into full-time for the right individual.

Pay: $18,500.00 - $40,000.00 per year
