Admissions Director

Our Recruitment Firm is seeking an experienced Nursing Home Admissions Director.

The facility is part of a select group of Nursing Homes where ownership values the employee - employer relationship, putting a large emphasis on employee satisfaction.

The ideal candidate must be devoted and compassionate about their chosen career. Leadership abilities and effective communication skills are necessary for this position.

Desired qualifications:

• Prior sales and marketing experience in the health care industry a MUST.
• Minimum of two (2) year experience in long-term care
• Proven ability to successfully market the services of the organization.
• Strong communication skills and good phone etiquette

Responsibilities:

• Establish and maintain positive relationships with referral sources to promote skilled services
• Coordinate the referral process from the identification of the appropriate payer source to the analysis of patient information
• Responsible for achieving the proposed company census and revenue objectives
• Collaborate with patient or representative, physicians, residents, nursing staff members, rehabilitation therapy staff members, and social work staff members to ensure seamless transfer to the facility
• Communicates information effectively to physicians, supervisors, facility administrators, and any other pertinent personnel in a timely manner
• Analyze patient needs and match with facility services to plan for an appropriate facility placement
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor
