Responsibilities :
- Installation, repair, or upgrade of fire alarm systems as per building plans and electrical layouts
- Mounting sensors at designated locations and conducting necessary tasks such as drilling holes for cabling
- Ensuring compliance with current codes and regulations
- Running low voltage cabling in commercial buildings, including concrete wall drilling and conduit work
- Completing all wiring, connections, and equipment installations to meet electrical and fire codes
- Testing to ensure the operational status of newly installed fire alarm systems and components
- Troubleshooting new system installations to ensure functionality and compliance with codes and requirements
