What are the responsibilities and job description for the Apprentice Journeyman Plumber position at Confidential?
We're seeking a motivated and hardworking Journeyman and or Apprentice Plumber experienced in residential new construction and light commercial to join our team in the Tyler and Beaumont area! This is a fantastic opportunity to join a stable company.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work with apprentice installation, maintenance, and repair of plumbing systems.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose plumbing issues.
- Handle tools, equipment, and materials safely and effectively.
- Follow company safety procedures and protocols.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Read and interpret blueprints and specifications to determine layout of plumbing systems
Qualifications:
- Plumbing experience with multifamily new construction and light commercial required
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to get hands-on
- Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
- Reliable transportation to office and jobsite during 90-day probationary period.
- Ability to lift heavy materials and work in various conditions.
- Experience with welding, carpentry, or field service is a bonus
- Familiarity with new residential construction sites is beneficial
- Knowledge of Trims, Rough and Top-Outs
- OSHA 10 or 30 license required or must be willing to get an OSHA 10 certification within your 90-day probation.
- Background and drug screen required
