Duties
- Manage the accounts receivable team, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient operations.
- Oversee the billing process, ensuring accuracy in invoicing and adherence to established timelines.
- Analyze accounts receivable aging reports to identify overdue accounts and implement collection strategies.
- Collaborate with the accounts payable department to reconcile discrepancies and maintain accurate financial records.
- Utilize medical terminology and ICD-10 codes as necessary for billing purposes.
- Conduct regular training sessions on phone etiquette and telemarketing techniques for team members.
- Ensure compliance with technical accounting standards and company policies.
- Maintain a high level of customer service by addressing client inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in accounts receivable management or a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of medical billing processes, including familiarity with ICD-10 coding.
- Proficient in 10 key typing for efficient data entry.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data effectively.
- Strong phone etiquette and communication skills for client interactions.
- Experience with telemarketing is a plus but not required.
- Familiarity with accounts payable processes is advantageous.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also demonstrating leadership capabilities.
