Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Arborist/Tree Trimmer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the health and aesthetics of trees and landscapes through proper trimming, pruning, and care techniques. This role requires a strong understanding of tree care practices, safety protocols, and the ability to operate various equipment safely and efficiently.
Duties
- Perform tree trimming and pruning to promote healthy growth and enhance the appearance of trees.
- Operate bucket trucks and other equipment safely to access high branches.
- Conduct routine inspections of trees to identify signs of disease or damage.
- Implement proper tree care techniques including fertilization, pest control, and irrigation.
- Assist in landscape maintenance tasks such as lawn care and garden upkeep.
- Utilize Geographic Information Systems (GIS) for mapping tree locations and maintenance schedules.
- Maintain equipment, ensuring it is in good working condition before use.
- Follow safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and your team.
Qualifications
- Experience in tree trimming, landscape maintenance, or related fields is preferred.
- Certified Arborist preferred
- Proficiency in operating bucket trucks and rigging equipment safely.
- Knowledge of tree care practices including growth patterns, diseases, and pest management.
- Familiarity with GIS technology for effective planning and documentation.
- Strong physical stamina to perform manual labor in various weather conditions.
- Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to quality work.
- Ability to work well within a team environment while also being self-motivated.

Pay: $75,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
