Responsibilities
- Assist the Food & Beverage Manager in daily operations and management of the food and beverage department.
- Supervise and train staff to ensure exceptional customer service and adherence to company standards.
- Oversee inventory control, including ordering supplies and managing stock levels to minimize waste.
- Manage shift schedules to ensure adequate staffing during peak hours.
- Coordinate banquet services, ensuring all events run smoothly from setup to execution.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining areas, kitchen, and storage facilities.
- Conduct interviews for new hires and participate in the onboarding process for new staff members.
- Monitor guest feedback and implement improvements to enhance the dining experience.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food and beverage management or supervisory roles is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on creating a welcoming atmosphere for guests.
- Knowledge of kitchen management practices, including food safety regulations.
- Experience with inventory control systems and procedures.
- Ability to train staff effectively in both service techniques and operational procedures.
- Familiarity with coffee service and casual dining environments is a plus.
