Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Nurse to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care in an Assisted Living (RCAC) setting. This role requires a strong commitment to patient well-being, effective communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals. The Nurse will supervise, delegate, and oversee in monitoring tenants health, administering medications, and ensuring compliance with medical documentation standards.
Duties
- Assess and monitor patients' health status, including vital signs and overall condition.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Provide care for tenants with specific needs, including those with dementia or requiring memory care.
- Document tenant information accurately in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans for tenants.
- Educate tenants and their families about health management and care the facility can help with.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients.
- Be knowledgeable and able to implement policies that ensure compliance with the State of Wisconsin and the chapter DHS 89 regulations.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of medical documentation practices and HIPAA compliance.
- Experience in Assisted Living, Long term care settings or specialized care environments such as Geriatric populations or dementia care.
- Excellent interpersonal skills for effective communication with tenants, families, and healthcare teams.
- Proficient in the use of medical equipment and technology relevant to tenant care.
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
