Be a Hero! (Peer Support/Community Support Associate)
We need an awesome Adult Peer Support Specialist or Dual certified Community Support Associate to support folks through mental health challenges, addiction, and crises. You'll use your skills to empower, guide, and make a real difference.
You'll:
- Provide peer support or dual certified community support. Must have have active certification at time of hire.
- Assess needs and create support plans.
- Facilitate peer support (individual & group).
- Use motivational interviewing.
- Collaborate with other professionals.
- Mentor individuals.
- Document client progress.
You Have:
- Background in Adult Peer Support or Dual certified Community Support (or related).
- Experience (preferred).
- Knowledge of behavioral health systems.
- Motivational interviewing/mentoring skills (bonus).
- Passion for helping others!
- Leadership
- Organizational Skills
